Alliance Human Services, Inc. has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Social Worker to join our not-for-profit, therapeutic foster care agency, located in Upland, CA. We are looking for a bilingual master’s level Social Worker, to coordinate the treatment of the children we place with Resource Parents.

What does the workday include?

· Conducting home visits and Resource Parent support meetings.

· Maintaining current and complete progress notes and other documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

· Facilitating quarterly case conferences for the client.

· Providing training to Resource Parents and assist in planning, and development.

· Representing the agency in court, with other agencies and Resource Parents.

· Assisting with legal, licensing, regulatory, and approval activities.

· Maintaining knowledge of Resource family / home standards and practices.

· Maintaining confidentiality, respect human rights, and practice universal precautions.

· Participating in rotational on-call system providing emergency coverage and crisis intervention support, while receiving additional compensation during your rotation.

Education and/ or Experience:

A master’s degree or higher from an accredited or state approved graduate school in social work or social welfare, marriage, family, and child counseling, child psychology, child development, counseling psychology, social psychology, clinical psychology, educational psychology, education with an emphasis on counseling, or an area that qualifies for licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, as specified in Sections 4999.32 and 4999.33 of the Business and Professions Code.

In addition to the degree specifications in subsection (d)(1), all of the following coursework and field practice or experience shall be required of all new hires effective January1, 1993:(A)At least three semester units or 100 days of field practice or experience in a public or private social service agency setting at the master’s degree level.(B)At least nine semester units of coursework related to children and families, or 18 months experience in working with children and families.(C)At least three semester units in working with minority populations; six months of experience in working with minority populations; or six months in-service training in working with minority populations within the first year of employment as a condition of employment. At least three semester units in child welfare, or two years’ experience in a public or private child welfare social services setting. Bi-lingual in Spanish.
