The Quality Assurance Specialist is critical to the success of our programs and is responsible for monitoring program quality and compliance using a data-driven approach. This position oversees the implementation of treatment plans and assessments, documentation and chart reviews, and the development and facilitation of clinical training initiatives. The Quality Assurance Specialist serves as a professional resource to the team while ensuring adherence to professional standards and policies. You’ll be supported by an experienced Executive Director focused on facilitating lasting and positive change for youth in our communities.

Alliance Human Services, Inc. has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our not-for-profit, treatment foster care agency, located in Danville, VA. Alliance is dedicated to the success of children and families we serve and is looking for like-minded employees.

What will your workday include?

·Working with the Executive Director and Director of Quality & Risk Management on internal controls, addressing regulatory compliance.

·Assuring service delivery and compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements. Maintaining knowledge of Virginia licensing standards and treatment-foster care interventions.

·Conducting compliance and qualitative reviews to assess program performance.

Tracking external audits and working with leadership to ensure continuous improvement.

·Providing written and verbal reports on compliance status.

·Providing supportive and corrective feedback to program staff to ensure quality and timely submission of progress notes and other required documentation.

·Providing technical support and training on incident reports; reviewing data and analyzing trends.

·Assisting in the development of training manuals and policy guides as well as providing in-service training, planning and development.

·Monitoring organizational compliance for safety concerns and medication tracking.

·Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

·Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of social work or human services.

·Three to five years of related experience, providing behavioral services to youth and families

·Strong documentation and writing skills are essential

·Self-motivated and detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task

·Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment

·Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

·Current CPR/First Aid Certification
