We are looking for a bachelor’s level Direct Service Employee, to coordinate the treatment of the children we place with Resource Parents. What does the workday include?

• Provide developmentally appropriate care and supervision to clients in placement. This includes participating in activities with the client, ensuring the client is clean and safe, fed, appropriately supervised, and working toward the goals stipulated in the Individualized Service Plan.

• Participate in special events and projects sponsored or required by the foster family agency, as assigned.

• Assist with transportation of children to/from medical, therapy, educational, family visitation, and or community events and appointments.

• Work with the AHS Case Managers to ensure the safety of the child in placement and provide a supportive resource to Approved AHS Parents.

• Maintain general knowledge of child development, best practices in regard to childcare, behavior management, and the basic provisions of the Standards of California.

• Appropriately document placement events which occur while the child is in his/her care, as requested by the AHS Case Manager and AHS Executive Director.

• Provide assistance to the foster family agency in stabilizing placements and providing brief supportive services, as assigned.

• Assist with generating ideas and carrying out activities concerning donation requests, marketing, and event planning for the foster parents and clients.

• Assist the Program Recruiter and Administrative Assistant with filing of documents.

• Current CPR/First Aid Certification on file.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in the human services field and one year of experience working with children and families are both preferred. Bi-Lingual in Spanish.

We are looking for a bilingual master’s level Social Worker, to coordinate the treatment of the children we place with Resource Parents. What does the workday include? · Conducting home visits and Resource Parent support meetings. · Maintaining current and complete progress notes and other documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. · Facilitating quarterly case conferences for the client. · Providing training to Resource Parents and assist in planning, and development. · Representing the agency in court, with other agencies and Resource Parents. · Assisting with legal, licensing, regulatory, and approval activities. · Maintaining knowledge of Resource family / home standards and practices. · Maintaining confidentiality, respect human rights, and practice universal precautions. · Participating in rotational on-call system providing emergency coverage and crisis intervention support, while receiving additional compensation during your rotation. Education and/ or Experience: A master's degree or higher from an accredited or state approved graduate school in social work or social welfare, marriage, family, and child counseling, child psychology, child development, counseling psychology, social psychology, clinical psychology, educational psychology, education with an emphasis on counseling, or an area that qualifies for licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, as specified in Sections 4999.32 and 4999.33 of the Business and Professions Code. In addition to the degree specifications in subsection (d)(1), all of the following coursework and field practice or experience shall be required of all new hires effective January1, 1993:(A)At least three semester units or 100 days of field practice or experience in a public or private social service agency setting at the master's degree level.(B)At least nine semester units of coursework related to children and families, or 18 months experience in working with children and families.(C)At least three semester units in working with minority populations; six months of experience in working with minority populations; or six months in-service training in working with minority populations within the first year of employment as a condition of employment. At least three semester units in child welfare, or two years' experience in a public or private child welfare social services setting. Bi-lingual in Spanish. We are looking for a Bachelor’s level Case Manager, (Master’s preferred), to coordinate the treatment of the children we place with foster parents, in and around the Danville community. Work on some evenings and weekends maybe required based on the families’ schedules.
