Employee Recognition

The John Corridan Compassion Award is named for John F. Corridan III, a founder of Alliance Health. John spent his career as a leader in government, health care and human services, advocating for the people who depend on those services. All who knew John recognized and were inspired by his magnificent sensitivity to those needing care, his generosity of spirit, and his compassion. This award celebrates his great gifts to the field of care and his legacy of quality and humanity.

The

Corridan Award

The Corridan Award is given annually to selected Alliance Health facility employees who demonstrate outstanding kindness and compassion in the delivery of their service or care to facility residents. Candidates must be regular full-time or part-time employees, and have worked at least one year at an Alliance facility. Nominations are accepted from any resident, family member of a resident, or Alliance employee. Winners are selected by the Board of Directors of Alliance Health, with input from Alliance’s Corridan Award Selection Committee and facility management.

Award presentation ceremonies are held each year in November and include a cash award to the recipient, and an engraved plaque commemorating the honor.
