Foster Care & Adoption Services
At Alliance Human Services, we provide foster care and adoption services to children and youth with emotional or behavioral disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, are medically fragile, or are in the juvenile justice system. Often, the children we serve have been placed unsuccessfully in homes from other agencies,
or come from more restrictive settings. Children placed with Alliance experience success through placement stability, and through achieving permanency by returning to their family or other permanent placement
that best suits their needs. In order to support these children, we provide ongoing counseling and case coordination. We recruit and train a diverse population of experienced and compassionate adults who, as foster parents, provide homes that are safe, nurturing and supportive.
We also support our foster and adoption families by ensuring that the children and youth receive all of the services they need for their success—including educational support, individual or group counseling or therapy, and many other case coordination services. In addition, we assist foster parents in obtaining respite care,
so that they can enjoy a refreshing break knowing the children are safe and having their needs met.
We have developed and implemented systems for assessing quality of care. We regularly collect outcome
data to evaluate our effectiveness and to help us make program improvements. We dedicate ourselves to the goals of safety, stability, and permanency for all children in our care, and measure our success by achieving these goals.
